COVID-19 Policy as approved by the UUCL Executive Board on May 25th, 2023.

  1. Sunday Mornings and General Programming

On May 11, 2023, the Federal COVID-19 Public Health Emergency ended and local data will no longer be available to us in the way it has been. The Executive Board voted on May 25th, 2023 to no longer update weekly protocols, but will communicate to the congregation when Douglas County COVID-19 risk levels are classified as Medium or High and any related safety protocols that are deemed necessary.

We encourage you to take advantage of our hybrid services on Zoom when you are experiencing symptoms that prevent you from safely attending in-person.

  1. Vaccination

Our 2022 vaccination policy proved to us that we are an incredibly vaccinated community! The Executive Board appreciates your care for our community and cooperation with showing your vaccination cards as we re-opened the building in spring 2022. We do not currently have the capacity to track and check vaccination cards. It is our expectation that everyone eligible for vaccination is up to date on their boosters and we trust that our community will continue to follow the guidance from public health officials. This policy may change or be updated as necessary. Visit the Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health website for more information and resources on vaccinations and boosters.
