We provide childrenyouthyoung adultsand adults an opportunity to explore, reflect, and learn in a nurturing spiritual community. Unitarian Universalist religious education programs offer all ages, inspiring:

  • Ethical growth – internalizing enduring values like justice, equity, and compassion, and gaining tools to act on them in everyday life.
  • Social growth – connecting with peers and people of all ages on a deeper level. Finding acceptance among people who see beyond the superficial.
  • Spiritual growth – feeling a connection with the sacred within, among, and beyond us.

Chalice Children (ages 5-7) and Flame Keepers (ages 8 and up)

Every month, we explore a new theme with our Soul Matters curriculum. One week you might find us discussing climate justice and another week we are engaged in a service project for our community. Check out Sunday Services to see what we’re up to this week!

Tea Lights (infant – 4 years old)

It’s never too early to build spiritual community! Every Sunday we play together, light a (battery-operated) chalice, and sing songs about our Unitarian Universalist values.

Note: Families with children on the cusp of recommended ages for the above programs are encouraged to chat with our RE Team to discuss what might be the best fit for your child. Depending on volunteer capacity and number of attendees, Chalice Children & Flame Keepers may be together on Sundays and will have the option to choose an activity that sparks their interest.

Seasonal Retreats

A few times a year, we host fun and engaging retreats that encourage our older youth to dig a little deeper into their UU roots. We’ll explore world religions, the principles and sources of Unitarian Universalism, and social justice.
